(Jackson, Miss.)—Mississippi’s Third District Congressman Gregg Harper has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) Political Victory Fund.
In an e-mail announcement to all NRA members in Mississippi, the NRA gave Congressman Harper an “A rating” and endorsed Congressman Harper’s campaign encouraging its members to “vote freedom first on March 13,” the date of Mississippi’s upcoming primary election.
“As a Life Member of the NRA, I’m very honored to receive the NRA’s endorsement for my campaign,” said Congressman Gregg Harper. “The 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms is an important, fundamental right in America, and I will continue working to promote and protect law-abiding citizens’ ability to exercise this Constitutional guarantee of freedom.”
March 13 is the Republican primary election in Mississippi. For absentee voting purposes, Circuit Clerks’ offices in each county will be open until 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 10, before the election for absentee voting. Circuit Clerks can receive and count any absentee ballots they receive in the mail by 5:00 p.m. on Monday before the election.
